Summer School

Are you looking to get ahead in your studies?

Albert College has created an exciting three-week summer programme for students between 12 and 18 years to improve their English skills while experiencing some of the exciting attractions of central Canada.

Join us...
Session I : July 7 - July 30, 2010
Session II : August 4 - August 27, 2010

Our experienced and passionate instructors are committed to providing highly motivated students with a unique and rewarding educational experience in a relaxed, supportive environment. Learning does not have to end when summer begins. In fact, we believe the summer months present a wonderful opportunity for students and teachers to approach education from a completely different perspective.

Classroom instruction is directed to the skills that are needed in school study; practical assignments are given and include computer instruction. Three weeks working on listening, reading, writing and speaking skills will better prepare students for further study in Canada or for taking English as an academic subject in their home country.

Small class sizes allow highly individualized instruction and active student participation. Every student works toward a working knowledge of the course material as well as effective teamwork skills. And, a vibrant residential programme with daily physical activities and evening entertainment promotes social interaction, independence and personal responsibility in a fun atmosphere.

The summer programme blends classroom activities and field trips. Each participant receives classroom instruction by day (8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) and enjoys a variety of exciting attractions in the evenings and on weekends. Excursions are designed to be entertaining and to provide an opportunity to further improve English skills.
